It's my birthday! We slept at the airport hotel for one night because we couldn't pick up the car until the next day. I woke up at 7:30am Newfoundland time (NT). NT is 4.5 hours ahead of Vancouver time. You can do the math...again...
I woke up with Dad and went downstairs to the breakfast place in the hotel and got hot chocolate with whipped cream and pancakes for breakfast!
Mom and bro woke up later and had breakfast minutes before we left. Bro sang me happy birthday because he figured out that it wasn't actually my bday at midnight because I was born Pacific Time.
Mom and Dad went and talked with the lovely person letting us rent their car, we named it Tony the Toyota. Shout out to Tony and hi to Torolla back home.
We drove to St. John's (St. Jahhhnnn's) and up Signal Hill. When we got to the parking lot we could all of a sudden see the Atlantic Ocean before us.
There was a huge walk that went down stairs all the way down to the ocean. We walked down a couple staircases, but stopped because we didn't have water or hats or sunscreen ... or energy. Then we walked up a smaller hill and we could see the ocean really well on one side and the St. John's harbour on the other side.
We went back to Tony and went to the grocery store. Me and bro stayed in the car and he got me to listen to "In Rainbows", an album by Radiohead. 🌈 I just went back to listening to TTPD...
We drove to a young lady's house and picked up a cake she custom made for us. Shout out to Bake Hysteria! I loved my cake! Highly recommend.
We drove to our amazing cabin where we are staying on Bermuda Lake. It is about 40 minutes away from St. John's.
We got settled in and had a FaceTime call with G&G, Grandma and Grandpa 💜 Shout out to G&G!
Then we ate dinner and I opened some amazing presents from my family. I got a brand-new journal from bro and a Hopescope T-shirt & bracelet.
We ate cake and fell into bed...
